Votemo was representing Estonia in CBC Global Finals - The Olympics for Startups

Summer is the low season for Television. But we didn’t slow down. Instead, we visited Copenhagen and represented Estonia in the Creative Business Cup 2019 Global Finals. Votemo was selected by Loov Eesti and startup leaders in the local semifinals at Latitude59 this year to represent Estonian startup culture and introduce the local creative entrepreneurs' mindset.

4-day stay in Denmark was a great opportunity to meet and network with the Creative Industry Startup leaders from all around the world and introduce Votemo to potential partners. The highlights of the event were pitching sessions. Maarit, CEO of Votemo, was on fire when pitching and speaking about the future of television and audience interaction on TV and streaming platforms.

Global initiative for entrepreneurship and innovation

Creative Business Cup National Competitions are organized in more than 70 countries, sending winners annually to the Global Finals in Copenhagen. The event empowers entrepreneurs in the creative industries, connects them to investors and global markets and strengthens their innovative capabilities to the benefit of industry and society. The global winning trophy of CBC 2019 went to Denmark.

The best part of the CBC is the network you get. For example, the value of the WhatsApp group of startup founders from 70 countries is incalculable. Whenever you need an introduction or insights about a certain country you can simply reach out in the group chat.
